A Hidden Gem for Relaxation
The architecture was fine, and the well-maintained gardens made for a perfect backdrop while enjoying the beautiful swimming pool. The staff were pretty good too ensure we felt welcome. They even assisted with transportation whenever we needed. Although I wished there were more activities available on-site since everything is quite remote, the overall tranquility made it a great escape from the hustle and bustle.

We had a very nice stay with outstanding customer service.
We greatly enjoyed this boutique hotel, no complains at all. The restaurant here was pretty good for dinner, we both ordered excellent dishes. And it had a magnificent view of the garden and swimming pool...

The staff's cute attitude made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, exemplified by the offer of breakfast before our official check-in time.
The cocktail menu could use some improvement, as the drinks felt more like mocktails due to the low alcohol content.

missingWrote a review on 22 Maramazing viewsfriendly stafflimited amenitiespoor spa experiencetide-related access
The beachfront location offered fine sunrises and a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for relaxation. The food quality was consistently excellent, showcasing fresh local ingredients, particularly during barbecue nights. The jetty access was occasionally limited due to tide conditions, and the amenities around the hotel felt somewhat sparse. The spa experience was subpar due to poor product quality, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of our stay.

It was just a suitable option for a city break in Pongwe with good price-value balance. The staff were very friendly and even taught us some Swahili . Look for local transportation options along the beach to save money.
